Effective September 30, 2025, federal tax credits for the purchase of both a new and used electric vehicle (EV) expired.

Notably, Electric Vehicle Chargers qualify for the federal Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Tax Credit of 30% or a maximum of $1,000 and is available until June 30, 2026.
